Friends of Children e.V. - Der Verein für Integration

Since our founding, our aim is to achieve the integration/inclusion of disabled, ill and needy children and young people as far as possible.

We help these young people in need in a variety of ways, as you can see on the following pages. In doing so, we can always successfully help them to achieve the best possible integration/inclusion into society.

Since October 9, 2021, Dr. med. univ. Uta Aengenheister ist the chairwoman of our association.

Please understand the simplicity of our homepage. Our association only uses its money to support children and young people in need. This means that there are no expenses for the creation of the homepage, because it is created for free and voluntarily. Therefore there are not very much pages, so we could made only a few Engish pages.‍

• ‍Children and young people with school problems, whose parents cannot pay for tutoring lessons, receive our free individual lessons so that they can achieve their school qualifications.

• We help disabled and ill children and young people for free for them and their parents with perception training, art therapy and individual support to cope with school problems. If they can confirm that they live in poverty, they receive our support otherwise - as far as our resources that allow.

• In addition to our free individual support for children and young people with school problems, we also give support to children and young people in need otherwise, as far as our resources allow, if their poverty is being confirmed to us by suitable documents.

• Very important is our support of disabled and ill children and young people, if they need essential things, which can´t afford by their parents, but are necessary.

We also work together with public institutions such as schools. Currently our association supports children and young people especially in North Rhine-Westphalia and with our own school-project in Cologne. We have a lot of volunteer teachers, who help us to give support to the children and young people. 

The remaining work (administration of the association, donations, etc.) is carried out by our association members voluntarily.

Since the founding of our association Friends of Children e.V. we have the non-profit status of the tax office.

Our help is free for all children, young people and their parents. The children and young people urgently need our help.
